Poll by Yediot Aharonot: Israelis believe that “Hamas” is the winner of the war’
The Hebrew-language newspaper Yediot Aharonot and Reichman University conducted a survey among 810 Israelis, according to which the majority of these people said that Hamas is the winner of the war in Gaza.
Based on the results of this survey, 37% of supporters of the right-wing parties said that Hamas won the war and only 16% considered Israel as the winner of this war.
Also, 40% of supporters of the left and center parties believe that Hamas is the winner of the war, and only 4% of them said that Israel is the winner of the war.
In addition, 63 percent of Israelis also said that America is less safe to travel than before.
In this regard, Nadav Eyal, the reporter of Yediot Aharonot newspaper, emphasized that a large part of Israelis believe that Hamas is the winner of the war and that one out of every 10 people believes in Israel’s victory.
On the other hand, Zionist journalist Avi Yeskharov emphasized that Israel has the greatest possible distance from winning Gaza, but on the other hand, Hamas is much closer.
Iskharov said the war is coming to an end without the army having achieved even one of its goals, and there is no vision of the day after the war, which would involve continued control of the Gaza Strip by Palestinian groups.
