PNN – The Israeli army expelled four soldiers from the Nahal Brigade and imprisoned three others for fleeing the Gaza war under the pretext of psychological shock.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Mayadeen, Israeli media reported that the regime’s army has dismissed four soldiers from the Nahal Brigade from combat duty. This came after they declared their psychological inability to return to combat in the Gaza Strip, as a result of the shocks they suffered during previous battles.
The Israeli military also sentenced three of its soldiers to prison terms ranging from one week to 12 days, Kan reported. The expulsion decision also included barring the four soldiers from any future combat missions.

The Israeli army spokesman said in this regard that these cases were handled sensitively and in accordance with orders. He emphasized that the army takes refusal to carry out military orders seriously, especially in times of war, and emphasizes the need to maintain discipline.
Meanwhile, suicides in the ranks of the Israeli army have also increased since the start of the war in the Gaza Strip, as a joint study between Tel Aviv University and the army showed that 12% of soldiers suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), while the number of suicides has reached more than 43 soldiers since October 2023, which, according to the Zionist news channel “I24”, indicates a worsening psychological crisis that threatens the structure of the Israeli army.
