According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing ABC, Hannah Thomas, a former Green Party candidate in the Australian federal election, was seriously injured in the face and eye while being arrested by Australian police during a protest against a company supplying Israeli military equipment in Sydney!
Thomas has been charged with obstructing or resisting the execution of a police officer’s duty, as well as refusing or failing to obey a police order.

The 35-year-old Australian politician was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being arrested. The anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian protests were held in Belmore, south-west Sydney. Thomas’ lawyer told the ABC his client is at risk of losing the sight in his right eye.
Thomas is the fifth person to be arrested for participating in the protests, which took place near SEC Plating, a company that protesters believe supplies parts for the US-made F-35 fighter jets used by the Israeli military.
