PNN – Kamala Harris, the US Democratic Party candidate for the November 5, 2024 presidential election, was criticized by protesters at a demonstration in Michigan for Washington’s continued support for Israel.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Biden-Harris government has defended Israel against war crimes charges in the world’s highest courts. Kamala Harris has tried to distance herself from her former vice president, who was strongly pro-Israel, but so far has only called for a ceasefire in Gaza.
Non-Aligned National Movement leaders say they spoke with Harris and Walls at the Michigan rally. The brief encounter comes as Harris is examining the complexities of the Israeli-Hamas conflict on a diplomatic and political level.

According to the group’s statement, Leila Ilabed and Abbas Alawieh, the founders of the National Non-Alignment Movement, expressed their concerns to Harris and Walls about the sending of US weapons to Israel and the plight of the Palestinians.
A spokesperson for Harris’ election team described this short meeting as an extension of her continued engagement with the Arab, Muslim and Palestinian communities regarding the Gaza war since October 7.
The spokesperson continued: The vice president has clearly said that she will always try to ensure that Israel is able to defend itself against Iran and the terrorist groups it supports.
