Protesters in America demanded an immediate ceasefire in Gaza

PNN – A group of protesters against the Zionist regime’s attacks on Gaza in New York by closing one of the major transportation terminals in this American city, while supporting the Palestinians, called for an immediate ceasefire in this area.

According to Pakistan News Network’s report on Saturday, Reuters news agency wrote: The New York Transportation Department announced that hundreds of protesters demanding a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas closed Grand Central Terminal, which is one of the city’s largest transportation centers, on Friday.

It is said that this terminal is closed until further notice due to protests and passengers are asked to use other alternative stations.

One of the banners seen in the hands of the protesters read: “Mourn the dead and fight like hell for the living.”

Images published on social media show that protesters have left the train station and many of them are being detained by police forces after entering the street.

The group Jewish Voice for Peace, which organized the protests, posted a video on Instagram showing police escorting a long line of protesters at the station, who had slogans such as “ceasefire now” and “not in our name” emblazoned on their clothes.

This Jewish anti-Zionist group wrote in its Instagram post: Hundreds of Jews and their friends have been arrested in the largest civil disobedience that New York has seen in the last two decades.

The protest of this group of anti-Zionist Jews comes at a time when the Zionist army intensified air and ground attacks on Gaza on Friday.
