Pro-Palestinian protesters in New Zealand once again called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza in massive street protests.
Several pro-Palestinian protesters took to the streets in New Zealand’s most populous city and demanded a quick ceasefire in Gaza.
Protesters marched in Oakland and demanded an immediate end to the war in Gaza. However, the large presence of the police prevented the pro-Palestinian demonstrations from continuing in this city.
Accordingly, hundreds of people marched on the main street of Oakland, where the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is also located, however, they encountered other protesters along the way.
Protesters chanted “Free Palestine” and “We don’t want your bloody war” while holding the Palestinian flag. During the march, New Zealand police tried to prevent pro-Palestinian groups from clashing with pro-Zionist groups.
The pro-Palestinian protests took place in Auckland, New Zealand, while Gaza is under the influence of genocide by the Zionist regime’s defense forces with the financial support of the United States, and so far more than 22 thousand people have died under the influence of this regime’s massive attacks.
It is said that nearly 8,000 of the dead are Palestinian women and children. In addition, nearly 57,000 people were injured and about 80% of the population of Gaza was displaced.
People who do not have access to food, water, medicine, or even humanitarian aid. The demonstrations held in this direction demanded an end to the “genocide” in Gaza and an immediate ceasefire in this area.
Before this, the residents of Oakland had held massive protest gatherings to declare their support and solidarity with the Palestinian nation, stop the war, and establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
