PNN – According to Zionist sources, the year 2025 was the worst year for the army of this regime in terms of the number of military personnel who have committed suicide.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing the Palestinian Information Center, Zionist statistics indicate that in 2025, a total of 22 Zionist soldiers committed suicide, which is the highest number since 2015, as 28 Zionist soldiers committed suicide that year. These statistics show that in the decade before the Gaza war, an average of 12 soldiers in the occupying regime’s army committed suicide annually.

The statistics indicate that one active-duty soldier of the regime, 9 reserve soldiers, and 12 conscripts committed suicide in 2025. Of this number, 12 were from combat units, 5 were from support units, and 5 were from non-combat units.
Also, 14 of the suicides occurred outside military bases, 8 occurred on military bases, and 5 of these individuals had files with the psychological care units of the regime’s army.
The statistics show an increasing trend of suicide in the army of the occupying regime, as this number was between 50 to 70 soldiers annually in the past three decades. From 2005 to 2011, between 26 to 28 soldiers committed suicide annually and this number reached 16 in 2017. Furthermore, in 2018, 9 soldiers committed suicide, and from October 7, 2023, until the end of that year, 7 soldiers of the regime committed suicide, with this number being 21 and 22 for the years 2024 and 2025, respectively.
