PNN – The President of Russia Vladimir Putin spoke to foreign youth about the weakening of the dollar by American officials, the prediction of fundamental changes in the European political system, the exploitation of other people by the West, the attractiveness of BRICS for many countries, overcoming sanctions, the role of women in Russia and the tragedy of war.
According to the report of the International group of Pakistan News Network, quoting from “Tas” news agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin told foreign participants at the World Youth Festival held in Sochi that the elites of the United States could not cope with the responsibility of being the world’s only remaining superpower after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
He reminded one of the American participants in this festival: “There is only one superpower left and that is your country. But the question is, how did your elites take advantage of this monopoly to dominate the world? I believe that the United States could not cope with this burden of responsibility that fell on him.”
Pointing out that America is the only superpower left, Putin added: The United States is a great and unique country in its own way. And in the past 300 years and thanks to the talent of the American people, it has become a superpower, and this is an obvious fact.
At the same time, he pointed out that the effort to strengthen American monopoly is not liked by the vast majority of countries, including the allies of the White House, and said: “Of course, I don’t mean the American people, but the ruling elite, who, by strengthening this monopoly, very quickly faced something that the vast majority of countries in the world really don’t like.”
Putin recalled: Washington “let the genie out of the bottle” by bypassing the UN Security Council in Yugoslavia and other countries. A clear example is the events in Iraq. The president asked the question that if Washington is allowed to take these actions, then why are other countries not allowed to protect their core interests in the same way?
The weakening of the dollar is the fault of the American authorities
Vladimir Putin believes that the American officials themselves undermined the authority of the dollar and that their policies in using the dollar as a tool are wrong. He said: The position of the dollar in the world markets is still weakening. Well, they banned payment in dollars <…> Why do your leaders do this? … Well, it’s clear: they want to get a quick result, but they didn’t get what they wanted and they only weaken the dollar’s strength more and more.
And he added: American officials received the opposite and different result from what they expected “in many areas”.
Putin’s reference to the prosperity of the West through the exploitation of other peoples
In a meeting with foreign participants of the World Youth Festival, the Russian President stressed that the prosperity of Western countries is mainly based on the exploitation of other peoples, including Africa. Vladimir Putin said: “Both in North America, in the United States and in Europe, many people, serious, literate and deep people know very well that the well-being of their countries is largely based on the exploitation of other peoples.” “Today’s prosperity is largely based on the exploitation of Africa.”
He added that they use other people’s natural resources and human resources, and at the same time, they do not hide this action at all and consider themselves justified.
Putin’s prediction about fundamental changes in the European political system
The Russian president predicted fundamental changes in the European political system and considered the current problems in Germany to be the result of a lack of sovereignty and expressed confidence that sooner or later the national interests of Germany will lead to the emergence of politicians who will try to improve relations with Russia.
He said: I think that the interests of the deep national interests of Germany and the people of this country will inevitably reach the politicians who will adhere to this point of view.
Putin asked to prevent the revival of Nazism
Vladimir Putin also reminded that current German citizens should not be held responsible for crimes committed by the Nazis in the past. He emphasized that the responsibility of the Germans is only to prevent the repetition of the Nazi past. According to him, the joint work of Russia and Germany in those years when they united for a common goal was always effective and this cooperation can continue.
The attractiveness of BRICS for different countries of the world
The President of Russia believes that the informal intergovernmental association of countries with dynamically developing economies – the BRICS group – has an attractive force for different countries of the world and attracts many countries like a magnet, and it is a fact that the number of these countries is rapidly increasing.
Putin: When people fight, it’s always a tragedy
Vladimir Putin emphasized that the conditions and problems around the world have become difficult and there are many hot spots, and when people fight each other, it is always a tragedy. For example, he pointed to the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine, in which many people are killed, injured and displaced, and this situation does not make anyone happy. At the same time, pointing out that “practically, the same thing has happened many times throughout the history of mankind”, he emphasized: Therefore, in such a situation, young people should try to create conditions where conflicts are less and cooperation is more.
The spiritual reunification of Russia and Ukraine is inevitable
At the same time, Putin believes that sooner or later the people of Ukraine and Russia will reunite on a spiritual level, such an outcome will be inevitable. According to him, of course, it is necessary to eradicate everything that is involved in this matter.
The Russian government has successfully countered the sanctions
Vladimir Putin also announced in a meeting with the participants of the World Youth Festival that the Russian government has been quite successful in fighting sanctions. The President of Russia said: I want to emphasize that we organize such events and this youth festival is not a tool to deal with sanctions. Our government is fighting the sanctions and it has been quite successful, and you who have traveled to Russia can see this.
He explained that Russia does not organize such events not to prove something to anyone and to argue with someone, but to make friends and create conditions for communication between young people so that they get more information about Russia.

On the occasion of being on the eve of International Women’s Day – March 8, Vladimir Putin reminded that the role of women in Russia is unique: While maintaining their charm and tenderness, without losing the natural gift of reproduction, they successfully operate in the field of work, production and expertise.
