PNN – Condemning the recent terrorist attack on a passenger train in Pakistan, the President of the Russian Federation said: Moscow is determined to strengthen anti-terrorism cooperation with Islamabad.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network from the Public Relations Office of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Islamabad, in messages to President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif of Pakistan, Vladimir Putin condemned the terrorist attack on train passengers in the province of Balochistan, offered condolences to the families of the victims, and expressed sympathy for the government and people of the country.
Putin, supporting Pakistan’s actions in combating terrorism, added: From Moscow’s perspective, such cowardly and heinous crimes are never acceptable.

He emphasized: Russia has a strong determination to strengthen bilateral cooperation with Pakistan in the field of counter-terrorism.
On Monday of this week, a passenger train carrying more than 440 passengers was stopped in Balochistan province after shooting and explosions by terrorist elements of the Baloch Liberation Army, and its passengers were taken hostage.
The Pakistani army’s operation against the hostage-takers ended with the release of most of the passengers, during which 33 terrorists were killed and 25 passengers, including four security forces, were also killed.
