Putin’s visit to North Korea is a sign of the failure of American policies and sanctions.

According to Sputnik, Anatoly Antonov, the Russian ambassador in Washington, announced that the recent visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to North Korea and Vietnam is a sign of the failure of dictatorial policies and US sanctions.

Speaking to reporters, he added: Vladimir Putin’s visit to North Korea and Vietnam has put the Americans in a predicament. Their dictatorial policy and embargo policy have completely failed. It was once again confirmed that the countries of the global south are following what Russia is doing with great attention.

Last Tuesday, Putin arrived in the capital of North Korea for the first time in 24 years to meet with the leader of North Korea, and on Thursday he also arrived in Vietnam.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un signed the “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement” between the two countries on Wednesday after bilateral talks.

On the eve of his trip to North Korea, Putin published an article in North Korea’s “Nodong Sinmun” newspaper, while appreciating North Korea’s friendship and support, and emphasized that Moscow “will support Pyongyang in its quest for independence and identity.” “Russia has continuously supported North Korea and the heroic people of Korea in the fight against the treacherous, dangerous and aggressive enemy, in the fight for independence, identity and the right to freely choose the path of development.”

In this article, the Russian President wrote: Russia has continuously supported and will support North Korea and the heroic people of Korea in the fight against the treacherous, dangerous and aggressive enemy and the fight for independence, identity and the right to freely choose the path of development.

Putin also described Pyongyang as “our committed and like-minded supporter” who is “ready to confront the West’s ambitions to prevent the emergence of a multipolar world order based on justice, mutual respect for sovereignty and attention to each other’s interests.” Putin went on to emphasize that the “rules-based order” that the United States is trying to impose on the world is “nothing more than a global neo-colonial dictatorship that relies on double standards.”
