Qaddumi: Tel Aviv obstructs peace.

Khaled Qaddumi, the representative of the Hamas movement in Iran, spoke to IRNA about the various aspects of Hamas’ response to the plan presented by the US President to end the war of massacre and genocide in Gaza. He said: “You are aware that the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas announced its conditional agreement with the plan to stop the war and crimes that continue against our people in Gaza, and to withdraw the regime’s forces and send humanitarian aid to the citizens.” He attributed the responsibility for implementing the understanding and preventing further crimes to the US and Israel, saying, “In other words, we accepted Mr. Trump’s proposal and announced it with an open mind and heart. We will enter into negotiations to examine the details of this proposal; details that must be implemented for the benefit of our people and to stop this bloodshed and crimes of the Zionist regime.” Qaddumi continued: “This action is truly a historic point, especially for those who have been making excuses until now, especially those criminals and extremists who are at the head of the Zionist regime.” The Hamas movement, in full coordination and consultation with friends in the resistance movements in Gaza and accepting national responsibility, announced its position in a statement.

The representative of the Hamas movement in Iran stated: The current situation remains worrying. Right now, since this morning, the number of martyrs has increased, and the Zionist regime continues its air and military attacks. We have announced our readiness from day one to exchange prisoners and stop the war. Now is truly a historic time when the US President is expected to take advantage of this political success and, in accordance with the common position of the resistance movements in Gaza and Palestine, take action to stop the war and end these crimes; those who committed these crimes must be stopped and held accountable to prevent further victimization.
