PNN – Mahmoud Qamati, a senior Hezbollah official, warned about the dangerous American-Zionist conspiracy against Lebanon and the entire region, saying that giving up weapons means the destruction of Lebanon, and that we will never give up our resistance and our elements of power, and we will not accept the slogan of monopolizing weapons.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Mahmoud Qamati, a member of Hezbollah’s political council and former Lebanese minister, stated in a speech about the conspiracies of the United States and the Zionist regime that the project designed against our region is very large and dangerous, and nothing but national unity will help Lebanon.
Mahmoud Qamati added: Anyone who seeks to weaken or violate the national unity of Lebanon is in fact serving the Zionist enemy and its conspiratorial plan against the region. Hezbollah is not an arm serving any country in the world, and we will not surrender to anyone and we will not give up the power of our people.

This Hezbollah official emphasized: No matter how much they threaten us or promise us, we will never give up our principles, because giving up power and weapons means the destruction of Lebanon. There is an important, progressive, and historical priority that must prevail over everything else, because Lebanon is in danger and the depths of a storm, threatened from all sides, and this is what French President Emmanuel Macron referred to when he announced that Lebanon must choose between being under Israeli or Syrian tutelage.
He clarified: Also, US envoy Tom Barrack has shown his country’s intentions and said: If Lebanon does not surrender, it could become part of Syria; meaning that Lebanon will be destroyed and become part of Syria. But some parties inside Lebanon, whose minds and hearts are full of hatred, grudges, and enmity; do not see any of these signs.
Mahmoud Qamati stated: All of us Lebanese must stand with the army to defend the nation, the identity, dignity, and sovereignty of our country. We are ready to discuss the defense strategy and how to make the resistance the fundamental pillar of Lebanon’s defense policy alongside the army, and we will not be deceived by the slogan of “arms monopoly,” because the arms monopoly concerns weapons that belong to mafia groups and parties that do not defend the country and have never played a role in the resistance to defend Lebanon against a foreign enemy.
He concluded by saying: The resistance will remain the factor of Lebanon’s power, sovereignty, and glory, whether some parties like it or not. We will never accept rhetoric that portrays the resistance as the problem of the Lebanese nation, because this resistance is to protect the country, the nation, the people, its economy, its prosperity, and its stability.
