PNN – The Qassam Brigades announced on Thursday morning that if the Zionist regime opposes the extension of the ceasefire, the forces of this military organization are ready to resume the war in Gaza.
According to Pakistan News Network from the Palestinian Sama news agency, in a statement, the Qassam Battalions of the military branch of Hamas have asked all their forces in the Gaza Strip to be fully prepared for the continuation of the war with the Israeli occupation if the temporary ceasefire is not extended in the coming hours.
According to this statement, the Qassam Battalion has asked its forces to maintain their level of readiness until an official statement regarding the extension of the ceasefire has been issued.
Previously, the Hamas movement had announced in a statement that the Zionist regime did not accept and opposed the release of 10 captured and killed prisoners in order to continue the exchange of prisoners.

The Hamas statement said: The Zionist occupation regime has opposed the release of 7 captive women and children and the receipt of the bodies of 3 of its captives in exchange for the extension of the ceasefire on Thursday.
Hamas added: We announced through mediators that the bodies of 3 prisoners were from the same group of prisoners who were killed in the bombing of Gaza.
Earlier, the media of the Zionist regime had reported that the security cabinet of the Zionist regime has ended its work without an agreement on the exchange of prisoners.
The security officials of the Zionist regime had claimed that Hamas made changes regarding the number of prisoners it is going to release, which is not accepted by this regime.
The temporary ceasefire will end at 7 am this Thursday local time and diplomatic efforts to extend this ceasefire continue.
