PNN – The Foreign Ministers of Qatar and Türkiye stressed the need to end the war against the Gaza Strip and resume the implementation of a ceasefire in the region.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Arabi Network, Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani expressed concern about the situation in the Gaza Strip in a joint press conference with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Sunday and called for the mobilization of regional and international efforts to immediately return to the ceasefire implementation process.
He stressed that despite political obstacles and pressures, Qatar and Egypt’s cooperation to resume the ceasefire continues, and the use of humanitarian aid as a tool of war is rejected.
Referring to the positions of Israeli regime circles regarding Qatar, Al Thani added: The allegations made against Qatar are false, and destructive efforts against Qatar’s mediation role will not prevent Doha from pursuing peace efforts.

He also emphasized support for the new Syrian steps to consolidate internal peace and build a law-based government, adding that negotiations with the Turkish Foreign Minister could lead to the establishment of mechanisms to strengthen regional security, and that Qatar remains committed to supporting the Syrian people and realizing their aspirations.
The Turkish Foreign Minister also described relations with Qatar as “strategic” and said that this cooperation serves the stability of the entire region.
He emphasized the development of defense cooperation between the two countries and close coordination on international issues.
Regarding the developments in Gaza, the Turkish Foreign Minister also stated that the Zionist regime is violating international law by carrying out ethnic cleansing, and that an immediate return to a ceasefire, the arrival of humanitarian aid, and an exchange of prisoners are essential.
Fidan also said that pressure on the Zionist regime to stop the aggression is inevitable.
In another part of his speech, the Turkish Foreign Minister considered the current sanctions against Syria an obstacle to the country’s stability and said that Ankara, in coordination with Qatar, is working to lift these sanctions and cleanse Syria of terrorism.
