Qatar pays damages for Iranian attacks on US base

PNN – The Qatari government announced that it has begun measures to assess the damage caused as a result of Iran’s missile attacks on the US base at Al-Udeid in order to compensate for the damages.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the official Qatari news agency announced that the country’s government is reviewing efforts to assess the damage caused to the properties of Qatari citizens and residents as a result of the interception of Iranian missiles during the attack on the US base in Al-Udeid.

This official media source adds that this action was initiated in line with the order of Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to compensate for these damages, and an extraordinary meeting of the Qatar Civil Defense Council was held under the chairmanship of Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Khalifa Al Thani and with the participation of the Qatari Internal Security Forces Command and some relevant parties.

The statement added that the meeting was held to take immediate measures to assess the damage caused by the performance of defense systems in intercepting Iranian missiles and to take rapid implementation measures to compensate for the damage caused by this operation.

On the evening of July 2nd, in response to the US’s direct missile operation against its nuclear facilities, which is considered a war crime under all international laws, Iran targeted the US Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar with its massive missile attacks. This attack caused panic among White House decision-makers, with US President Donald Trump immediately forcing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accept a ceasefire and halt attacks on Iran.
