Qatar’s anger over Tel Aviv’s false claims against Doha

PNN – Tel Aviv’s accusation that Doha had helped Hamas and its military wing, Al-Qassam, in Operation Al-Aqsa Storm on October 6 last year angered Qatar.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed, Qatar rejected the Israeli regime’s accusations that humanitarian aid sent to Gaza had reached Hamas, calling these claims a complete lie and evidence of the occupiers’ determination to prolong the war in Gaza.

Qatar International Media Office said in a statement: Qatar is a strong supporter of the Palestinian people and has sent humanitarian support to families in Gaza over the years, including food and medical aid, as well as providing electricity to Gazan homes.

The statement from Qatar’s International Media Office reads: It is clear to everyone inside Israel and the international community that all aid sent from Qatar to Gaza has been carried out under the full supervision of Israeli institutions, including the Shin Bet, and that no aid has been provided to the political or military wing of Hamas. The mechanism for providing aid has been coordinated with the UN Middle East Coordinator and the World Food Program.

Qatar has announced that sending fuel to Gaza through the Abu Salem crossing is the only crossing designated by Israel for the entry of goods into Gaza, and coordination has also been carried out with the United Nations.

Qatar’s international media office stated: At this critical moment, the Shin Bet and other Israeli security agencies should focus on rescuing the remaining prisoners in Gaza, rather than looking for a culprit like Qatar. Despite these unjustified attacks, Qatar will continue to mediate for peace because it believes that diplomacy is the only way to a better future for Palestinians and Israelis.
