Rabbi Summit in Baku: Zionism’s Soft Influence Project in the Islamic World.
Several reports have recently emerged indicating that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev intends to host the 70th anniversary of the European Zionist Rabbis’ Conference in mid-November, a conference that is said to be attended by nearly 500 Jewish rabbis from around the world. According to Jewish and Zionist media, the conference is scheduled to be held in Baku from November 4 to 6, and there is a possibility that representatives from the Zionist regime will also officially attend.
The gathering, which will be held under the title of the “70th Anniversary Convention of the Religious Organization of World Jews,” is intended to address issues such as the expansion of the “Abraham Accords,” an agreement that led to peace between Israel and four Arab countries five years ago under the Trump administration, as well as issues such as religious freedom and combating anti-Semitism in Europe. The organizer of this meeting is the “Union of Orthodox Rabbis of Europe”, which has been operating since 1956 and now covers more than 700 Jewish religious leaders from different European communities.
This is the first time that such a meeting is held in a Muslim country and with the explicit aim of promoting Zionist Judaism; an action that will not only be sensitive within the Republic of Azerbaijan, but will undoubtedly provoke a negative reaction from the Islamic Ummah, supporters of Palestine, and free nations of the world.
In this regard, “Ali Akbar Velayati”, Advisor to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution on International Affairs, considered the holding of a meeting of Zionist rabbis in a Muslim country “very surprising and regrettable”. He described this action as “anti-Islamic” and emphasized that he hopes that the essence of this news is not true.
Velayati also stated: “This is the first time that such a line has been crossed by the Azerbaijani government. “It seems that the main goal of this summit is to expand the Ibrahim Accord and draw the Republic of Azerbaijan and other Muslim countries of Central Asia into it.”
