PNN – The first ISIS terrorist operation in Syria after the overthrow of the Bashar al-Assad regime has raised alarm bells about the worsening security situation in the country.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Rai al-Youm newspaper wrote about the first ISIS attack against the terrorist regime of al-Jolani after the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime: The ISIS terrorist organization used the phrase “the apostate Syrian regime” when claiming responsibility for Thursday’s operation in Sweida province. This means that al-Jolani’s elements are being openly targeted and he cannot stop this process because the central authority in Damascus is weak and weapons are available throughout Syria.

It seems that ISIS underground groups have awakened in Syria; the ISIS-affiliated weekly Al-Naba condemned Al-Jolani’s recent meeting with Trump and believes that Al-Jolani’s change of appearance as a terrorist and his meeting with Trump make it necessary to fight the Damascus regime.
Noureddine Al-Baba, spokesman for the Interior Ministry of the terrorist regime of the Golani regime, also admitted that ISIS activities have intensified in Syria after the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime. Clashes between ISIS and the Kurdish elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces, who control the eastern and northeastern regions of Syria, have also intensified.
This operation does not appear to be the last ISIS operation in Syria, but rather a warning sign of the worsening security situation in the country. On Thursday, the ISIS terrorist organization claimed responsibility for its first attack on elements affiliated with Abu Muhammad al-Julani. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced that this was the first attack against the Golani forces and that a soldier from the 70th Army Brigade was killed and three others were wounded.
