PNN – In a report on Monday, Rai Al-Youm newspaper examined Saudi Arabia’s position regarding the recent statements of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Donald Trump about the Gaza Strip, and echoed the statements of the former head of Saudi intelligence in this regard.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Rai Al-Iyum newspaper has stated in its report: The approach of the Saudi Arabian authorities has increased in an unprecedented way against the occupying Jerusalem regime in the form of diplomatic measures, and this peak of Saudi displeasure shows itself in the wake of US President Donald Trump’s plan to evict Palestinians from their lands and agree to normalize relations with Tel Aviv.
In this regard, Turki al-Faisal, the former head of Saudi intelligence, has made a serious and unprecedented attack on Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, and has considered him arrogant and arrogant and his behavior is disgusting.
This position of al-Faisal comes after Netanyahu’s statements about the formation of an independent Palestinian state in Saudi Arabia. Turki al-Faisal does not have an official position in Saudi Arabia, but he is one of the Saudi personalities who previously had a positive opinion on the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime, and the fact that he has recently changed his approach in this regard and has become a supporter of Palestine shows the height of Saudi anger towards Netanyahu.
Al-Faisal considered Netanyahu to be unethical and repulsive and described his idea of moving Palestinians to Saudi Arabia as impossible and unacceptable.
He clearly stands by the Palestinians, and this is evident from his statement that he has emphasized that the Palestinian issue has suffered from open oppression and the rights of the Palestinian people have been violated.
Rai Alyoum further wrote: In a remarkable statement that we have not seen from Arab officials for a long time, al-Faisal called for Arab unity.
He said: Arab countries should be united against the decisions of America and Israel because no one can harm them with unity.
Ray Alyoum continued in its report: Trump is rarely criticized in Saudi Arabia, especially since during the first term of his presidency, Riyadh’s relations with Washington were positive and excellent, and Trump was warmly welcomed in Riyadh; but things seem to have changed and Trump has run into trouble with Saudi officials in his second term.
Al-Faisal said in this regard: We are witnessing the orientation of American leaders in favor of Israel, which we have not seen in other American presidents.
Al-Faisal further considered it unlikely that Trump would seek a military solution and use the army to evict the Palestinians from Gaza and described his positions as bullying.
Rai Alyoum wrote: This critical position towards Netanyahu and Trump’s plans has been intensified and continued, and it was not only expressed by Al-Faisal, but also in the media’s approach against Netanyahu and Trump, which has taken a harsh tone.
In the end, this media wrote: The leaders of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates and Qatar will hold a meeting in Riyadh on February 20th, the topic of which is Trump’s plan about Gaza, and this is a few days before the meeting of Arab leaders in Cairo on February 27th, which, according to a Saudi source, will emphasize the firm opposition to the relocation of Gaza residents.
