Reagan International Airport closed following today’s plane crash.
According to Al Jazeera, the US Federal Aviation Administration announced that Reagan International Airport will be closed until Friday after a US passenger plane with 68 passengers collided with a military Black Hawk helicopter.
US officials say that none of the passengers on both planes survived and efforts are underway to recover the bodies from the Potomac River.
Earlier, USA Today and other local US media reported that due to the extreme cold, all passengers on the plane that crashed into Washington’s Potomac River may have died.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump raised questions and cast doubt on the incident of a military helicopter colliding with a passenger plane in Washington. He remained unclear about the reason why the military helicopter was heading towards the passenger plane for a long time, calling it questionable.
