Reduction of diplomatic relations between Egypt and the Zionist regime

PNN – So far, Egypt has refused to send a new ambassador to the occupied territories and has refused to accept the new ambassador of the Zionist regime, and according to analysts and newspapers, Cairo has reduced the level of its relations with Tel Aviv without media controversy.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, in a report referring to the relations between Egypt and the Zionist regime, Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed said: Cairo has not yet determined the assignment of its ambassador to Israel (occupied territories) and the replacement of Khaled Azmi, who returned to Egypt a few weeks ago after completing his mission.

Some sources announced to al-Arabi al-Jadeed that the appointment of Egypt’s ambassador to Israel is still undecided, and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is waiting for the stability of the political and security situation in the region and the cessation of Israeli attacks on Gaza and Lebanon, and it is expected that this process will be delayed until January 2025.

According to this report, there are names for this very sensitive diplomatic position in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, and its selection will take place after going through several steps and carefully examining the names. The prominent candidate in this field is Tariq Dehruj, the head of the Libyan department of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the former Egyptian ambassador to Pakistan, but everything is related to political conditions.

Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed continued his report: Amira Oron’s tenure as Israel’s ambassador (regime) in Egypt has also ended, and despite the actions taken by Tel Aviv, Cairo has not yet taken any action to accept the credentials of the new Israeli ambassador.

Hossein Haridi, the former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, said: It is difficult for Egypt to accept the credentials of the Israeli ambassador while the army of this regime is killing Arabs and Muslims and the prime minister of this regime is talking about turning Lebanon into another Gaza.

Former Egyptian diplomat Abdallah al-Ashal also stated: Egypt deliberately refuses to accept the Israeli ambassador and Cairo deliberately declares its anger against Israel, even if only in a formal way.

At the same time, the Zionist newspaper Ma’ariv wrote about this: Cairo has not yet appointed an ambassador to Israel and does not intend to do so anytime soon. After Amira Oron’s term in Cairo ended and she returned to Tel Aviv, Uri Rothman, the new ambassador, should have replaced her, but the Egyptians are not in a hurry to accept her letter.

This Zionist media reported: Cairo has lowered the level of diplomatic relations with Israel without controversy or comment until further notice. Relations between Cairo and Tel Aviv are facing serious damage and Egypt currently considers Israel’s policies as a threat to regional stability.
