Representative of Qatar: “Israel” should join “NPT”.

According to Al-Khalij Al-Jadeed, “Abd al-Aziz Salman Al-Jaberi”, the head of the National Committee for the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons of Qatar, said in a speech: UN resolutions since 1974, Security Council resolutions 487 and 687 in 1981 and 1991 and various approvals of the International Atomic Energy Agency all and Everyone wants the Middle East countries that are not members of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty to sign this treaty.

This is while the Zionist regime has not only not signed this treaty, but also has not allowed the inspectors of the agency to visit its nuclear facilities.

The representative of Qatar asked the international community to take action to correct this process and take practical steps to implement the aforementioned resolutions.

He added: that Tel Aviv’s joining the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and placing all of Israel’s nuclear facilities under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency is the main condition for a Middle East free of nuclear weapons.

The representative of Qatar asked the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency to eliminate the stagnation with his own initiative. He emphasized that the nuclear issues of the Zionist regime should be discussed among the agency’s decision-making officials.

Previously, some Arab countries, including Qatar, in August 2022, during the review meeting of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, wanted the Zionist regime to join this treaty and create a Middle East free of all weapons of mass destruction.

Although the Zionist regime is one of the main sources of threat and danger in the region, it has not cooperated with the International Atomic Energy Agency for decades.

According to reports published by Western countries, this regime has nearly 200 nuclear bombs. Meanwhile, some Western sources have reported the existence of large amounts of uranium and plutonium with this regime, which makes Tel Aviv able to build 100 more nuclear bombs. Nevertheless, the nuclear facilities of the Zionist regime are not under any supervision or inspection.

The Zionist regime has seven nuclear reactors, of which Dimona is the most prominent, and the leaders of this regime do not allow anyone to approach these reactors or inspect them.
