It is stated in this statement: This action of Mexico and Chile is taking place due to increasing concerns about the escalation of violence, especially against civil and civilian targets in the Gaza Strip.
The ministry emphasized: Various reports have been published by the United Nations, which show that there have been many incidents that can be classified as crimes that the International Criminal Court should deal with.

Andrey Klein, the Russian ambassador in London, said in an interview with LBC radio that South Africa has legal grounds to refer Israel to the International Court of Justice for its actions in the Gaza Strip.
