PNN – Joe Kent, the head of the US National Counterterrorism Center in the Donald Trump administration, who resigned in protest of the Iran war, said that stopping the war “is the right decision, but first we have to contain Israel.”
According to the report of Pakistan News Network; this former senior US intelligence official believes that to stop the Iran war, Washington must cut off its military aid to Tel Aviv. Kent reacted on Page X (formerly Twitter) to senior US Senator Lindsey Graham’s recent message about the country’s and Israel’s imposed war against Iran.
Lindsey Graham wrote on X on Monday: I had a very good discussion with the President of the United States regarding his recent statement about the consequences of not accepting an acceptable peace agreement for Iran. I support diplomatic efforts to end the conflict in line with our military objectives, but it takes two to tango. The anti-Iranian congressman, who is a staunch supporter of the Zionist regime in the United States, claimed about the Iran war that “Operation Epic Fury is well ahead of schedule.”
He claimed: My hope has always been that by neutralizing Iran as the largest sponsor of terrorism, the door to peace would open for Saudi Arabia and Israel, allowing them to normalize their relations and effectively end the Arab-Israeli conflict. If this historic normalization agreement between Saudi Arabia and Israel happens, it will be because of President Trump’s bold and decisive leadership in dealing with the Iranian threat.” The Republican senator from South Carolina added: Mr. President, keep going. End the war and finish the effort for a historic peace agreement. Joe Kent wrote about Graham’s message: Ending the war is the right decision, but for any peace agreement and exit plan (from the war with Iran) to work, we must first contain Israel.
