Retired Zionist General Confesses: War Will Not Lead to Hamas’ Defeat.
Brick said that continuing the war will not lead to the release of prisoners from the Gaza Strip.
He added that the only way out of the current situation is to end the conflict and release all Zionist prisoners in one step.
According to IRNA, a former Mossad official had previously stated that there was no way to defeat Hamas.
In response to the release of American-Israeli prisoner Aiden Alexander as a result of negotiations between the United States and the Hamas movement, former senior Mossad official Amnon Sofrin admitted that Hamas had succeeded in changing the US position in favor of the movement and that the Zionist regime no longer had the power to destroy Hamas.
The Israeli Channel Seven TV reported that Amnon Sofrin, former head of Mossad intelligence, believes that the release of American-Israeli prisoner Aiden Alexander was part of a tactical move by Hamas against the US authorities.
Regarding the future of Hamas, Soufrin stated that in his opinion, Hamas will not disappear under these circumstances and that there is no solution to defeat and destroy Hamas at this stage.
The former Mossad official stated that currently, the approval of the plan to completely occupy the Gaza Strip by the Zionist regime’s cabinet may entail heavy costs for Israel.
Soufrin continued: Hamas is rebuilding and strengthening itself, recruiting and making explosives from the remains of the unexploded bombs of the Israeli army, but we are still suffering casualties after 19 months of war.
He also claimed that what has happened is that this movement has significantly reduced its direct threat against Israel, and it can be said that rocket launches have decreased significantly.
Soufrin also stated in this regard that Hamas has no intention of returning to the scenarios of October 7 (Operation Al-Aqsa Storm) with this action, so the Israeli regime should not continue to expand military operations in Gaza while it is not capable of defeating Hamas.
