PNN – The CEO of Qatar Energy told Reuters that the Iranian attack has caused about 17% of Qatar’s LNG capacity to be out of service.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the CEO of Qatar Energy told Reuters that the Iranian attack has disabled about 17% of Qatar’s LNG capacity, with two of 14 LNG trains and one GTL facility damaged, which will take about 12.8 million tons per year out of service for 3 to 5 years while repairs are carried out.

This disruption could lead to an estimated $20 billion in annual revenue losses and threaten the energy supply of Europe and Asia.
