Reuters: Israel does not intend to occupy or control Gaza for a long time

PNN – An English news agency quoted a senior official of the Zionist regime as saying that the regime has no intention of occupying the Gaza Strip or controlling it for a long time.

According to Pakistan News Network, Reuters news agency quoted an unnamed senior official of the Zionist regime as saying that the regime does not intend to occupy the Gaza Strip or control it for a long time.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken asked Israel not to occupy Gaza again after the end of the war with Hamas.

According to AFP, the US Secretary of State listed what he called “key elements” to create “sustainable peace and security” in a conversation with reporters after the Group of Seven talks in Japan.

Blinken said the United States believes key elements must include “no forced relocation of Palestinians from Gaza, either now or after the war; not using Gaza as a platform for terrorism or other violent attacks; and non-occupation of Gaza after the end of the conflict. According to him, other conditions include not trying to block and encircle Gaza or any reduction in the territory of Gaza.

Earlier, “Benyamin Netanyahu”, the prime minister of the interim Zionist regime, in response to the US opposition to the re-occupation of Gaza, claimed: “I don’t know what will happen after the removal of Hamas, but [the war] will not end with anything less than their removal.” Netanyahu’s senior adviser also claimed in an interview with CNN: “Israel’s security presence must exist in Gaza, and this does not mean occupying and controlling its population.”

While more than a month has passed since the beginning of the massive attacks on the Gaza Strip and the Zionist regime’s claim to expand its scope, the occupying forces are still receiving heavy blows from the resistance forces in different directions.

Previously, a member of Hamas’s political office stated in response to Washington and Tel Aviv’s claims that the movement’s power in the Gaza Strip has been lost and that it has no impact on the future, stating: We are part of the Palestinian national fabric and we will stand by the resistance.
