Riyadh’s change of approach: Saudi Arabia will not enter into direct conflict with Ansar Allah.
According to Arab TV, while news was being released about the readiness of the UAE elements for a large-scale attack against the Yemeni Ansarullah forces, the Wall Street Journal reported that Saudi Arabia has informed the United States and its Yemeni allies that it will never engage in another direct conflict with Ansarullah.
According to this report, Saudi Arabia fears that the Yemeni armed forces will resume missile and drone attacks against the country.
This approach is considered a special development in Saudi foreign policy, as the country was previously the vanguard of military attacks against Yemen.
Previously, the American newspaper The Wall Street Journal had reported that Yemeni elements affiliated with the UAE are preparing for a large-scale ground attack against the Ansarullah forces.
According to this report, the attack is taking place in the shadow of the recent US airstrikes against Yemen. The Wall Street Journal added that the UAE elements in Yemen intend to take control of strategic areas on the west coast, especially the port of Hodeidah, to cut off the important economic artery of the Ansarullah movement, according to them.
