PNN – Hebrew media reported that shrapnel from a rocket fell near the Knesset (parliament) building and the office of the Israeli Prime Minister in occupied Jerusalem.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Arabi 21, Hebrew media announced on Monday evening that after Iran fired a barrage of missiles towards the occupied territories, missile shrapnel fell around the Knesset headquarters and near the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of the regime in occupied Jerusalem.
The official Israel Broadcasting Corporation released a video showing a large piece of rocket shrapnel that it said fell near the Knesset in Jerusalem. The media also released a video showing Knesset members running for shelters after warning sirens sounded in the area.
In this regard, the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported that other shrapnel had also fallen near the Israeli Prime Minister’s office in Jerusalem. Israel’s private Channel 12 network also announced that several rocket shrapnel had landed in various areas of Jerusalem and the center of the occupied territories after a barrage of missiles was fired by Iran.
Sources have not yet been able to confirm the possible consequences of the fall of these fragments in terms of casualties or material damage.
Meanwhile, the Israeli aid organization Red Star of David announced that one person in the city of Kiryat Gat was seriously injured after being hit by a car while heading to a shelter after warning sirens were activated.
During the ongoing war, the Israeli regime has imposed strict monitoring and censorship on the publication of information related to human casualties and material damage, and has limited the publication of images related to this issue, which could indicate that the actual number of casualties is higher than the announced figures.
