The Russian Foreign Ministry said that Israel’s attacks on Syria are a gross violation of Syrian sovereignty and international laws.

On Thursday, the Russian Foreign Ministry described the Zionist regime’s attacks on Syria as a “gross violation of international law.”

Moscow’s statement said: “These actions by the Israeli side are an example of gross violation of the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic and the basic norms of international law.”

Russia said Israel’s action has put the lives of innocent people and the safety of international air traffic at real risk.

On Thursday afternoon, news sources in Syria announced the air attack of the Zionist regime on the Damascus and Aleppo airports and wrote that the operations of the two airports were stopped.

According to the website of Al-Watan newspaper in Syria, the runways of both airports were targeted in these attacks. Also, the Syrian air defenses also tried to counter the missiles and succeeded in destroying several of them.

This attack did not result in casualties and only material damage

The Syrian Ministry of Defense also said in a statement: “This aggression is a desperate attempt by the criminal enemy of Israel to divert attention from the crimes committed in Gaza and the great losses suffered by the Palestinian resistance, and is part of the continuous approach to support extremist terrorists; The groups that the Syrian army is fighting in the north of this country and they form the armed arm of Israel.

On the 6th of Shahrivar, the Zionist regime’s fighters targeted the Aleppo International Airport in northwest Syria, in which the runway was damaged and the airport’s activities were suspended.
