PNN – A Russian negotiator announced that Moscow hopes that at least one issue will be resolved in Monday’s talks with the United States in Saudi Arabia.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Anatoly reported, Grigory Karasin said in an interview with the Russian Zvezda TV channel that it will be difficult to address all the existing problems due to their complexity and multiplicity.
Karasin, a senior Russian lawmaker, explained: We hope to make progress in these negotiations. We will work directly on one issue. It is difficult to achieve progress on all issues, but we will work diligently to resolve at least one issue.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned in a separate statement that Russia may lift a 30-day moratorium on attacks on energy facilities if Ukraine continues to violate the agreement.

He accused Ukraine of carrying out drone strikes on a gas transmission station in the city of Suzh in Russia’s Kursk region and an oil pumping station in the Krasnodar region, which came after Moscow and Kiev accepted US President Donald Trump’s offer to refrain from such attacks.
Previously, the Kremlin announced in a report on the second phone call between the Russian and American presidents, which lasted more than two hours, that Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump discussed bilateral issues and spoke in detail about the Ukrainian conflict, as well as developments in the Middle East and the Red Sea.
In the phone call, the Russian and American presidents confirmed their intention to continue efforts to achieve a bilateral settlement of the Ukraine conflict, including by considering the proposals of the US President. According to the report, specialized groups of Russian and American experts are being created for negotiations within this framework.
The Kremlin also announced that during the phone call, within the framework of the US President’s initiative to establish a 30-day ceasefire, the Russian President raised a number of important issues related to ensuring effective control over a possible ceasefire along the entire front line of the battle, the need to stop forced mobilization in Ukraine, and the rearmament of the Kiev armed forces.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff said that the parties would discuss the details of the ceasefire agreement in Ukraine in Jeddah on March 23, 2025. He also reported “positive results” in talks between the US and Russian sides on the Ukraine conflict.
