PNN – The Russian Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday: In a joint meeting, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin and Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hamid Ghanbari presented a positive assessment of the trend and prospects of trade relations between Russia and Iran; relations that have gained significant momentum with the implementation of the free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and Iran.
The Russian Foreign Ministry announced that a meeting between the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and the Iranian Deputy for Economic Diplomacy was held on Wednesday (January 28).
The statement published on the official website of the Russian Foreign Ministry states: Positive assessments were made of the dynamics and prospects of trade relations between Russia and Iran; relations that have been significantly accelerated by the implementation of the free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as granting Iran observer state status in the union.
