Russia: The assassination of Ismail Haniyeh is completely unacceptable’

According to TART, the Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement announcing that the assassination and martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political office of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), is a “totally unacceptable political murder.”

A few hours ago, the public relations of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps announced in an announcement: that Mr. Dr. Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of Hamas, and one of his bodyguards were martyred when their residence was hit in Tehran.

With condolences to the heroic nation of Palestine and the Islamic nation and the fighters of the resistance front and the noble nation of Iran, this morning (Wednesday) the residence of Mr. Dr. Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of the Islamic resistance of Hamas, was hit in Tehran, and following this incident, he and One of his bodyguards was martyred.

The cause and dimensions of this incident are being investigated and the results will be announced later.

Also, the Islamic resistance movement of Palestine, Hamas, announced the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the political office of this movement, and expressed his condolences to the Arab and Islamic ummah and all the free people of the world.

The statement announced that the head of the Hamas movement was martyred in a cowardly terrorist attack at his residence in Tehran after participating in the inauguration ceremony of the new president of Iran.

Musa Abu Marzouq, a member of the political office of Hamas, also emphasized that this cowardly assassination will not go unanswered.
