Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu arrived in Baghdad on Tuesday on a working trip to meet with Iraqi political and military officials. The Russian Security Council Secretariat announced that the meetings will emphasize Moscow’s support for strengthening and expanding security cooperation with Iraq.
Ways to expand bilateral relations between Iraq and Russia, along with regional issues, are also planned to be examined.
