Venezuela: The U.S. is a Killer Roaming in the Caribbean
Venezuela’s representative at the UN Security Council said, “The peace of the Caribbean region is at risk due to the illusions of the U.S. government, which is pushing it toward warmongering. The U.S. hides its crime behind the mask of ‘self-defense.'”
He added, “The U.S. is a killer roaming in the Caribbean, a killer searching for an excuse to start a fake war. The United States is the only country that declares, ‘shoot first, and explain later.'”
He emphasized, “Who believes that this widespread warmongering in the Caribbean is about fighting drug trafficking? The U.S. is trying to dominate the world’s oil resources and believes that Venezuela’s oil belongs to it.”

He concluded, “We ask the Security Council to take necessary actions to prevent further escalation of the situation.”
