PNN – The Russian Security Service announced that Ukrainian forces, after sustaining heavy losses, have withdrawn from the Sumy region.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network citing Russian Security Service’s report, the Ukrainian armed forces, after suffering significant losses, have pulled out units from the 119th and 58th brigades, as well as Special Forces from the Border Guard Service, from the Sumy region located in northeastern Ukraine.

The service stated that in the Krasnopolsky district, Ukrainian forces, following heavy losses, were forced to withdraw units of the 119th Territorial Defense Brigade and a special company of the 58th Mechanized Infantry Brigade, along with Special Forces from the Border Guard Service, to more suitable positions deeper within the region.
Based on the statement, an airstrike by the 103rd Brigade targeted the territorial defense of Ukrainian forces, resulting in the death of several Ukrainian commanders near Pavliuka. The statement emphasized that Ukrainian forces have suffered heavy casualties among their personnel.
Yesterday, the Russian Ministry of Defense also announced that its affiliated eastern forces have taken control of the town of Zarychnoye in the Zaporizhzhia region.
