PNN – The Russian Foreign Ministry warned of the consequences of a possible military aggression against Iran, stating: Any attempt to blackmail Tehran’s foreign partners by increasing tariffs is unacceptable.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing TASS, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced in a statement that Moscow condemns any interference in Iran’s internal political processes and considers the threat of new military strikes against the country unacceptable.
The Russian Foreign Ministry statement reads: We strongly condemn destructive foreign interference in Iran’s political processes. The government of the Islamic Republic has shown its readiness for constructive dialogue with society in order to find effective ways to neutralize the negative social and economic consequences of the West’s hostile policies. The threat of new military attacks against Iranian soil is unacceptable.
The ministry emphasized: Those who are designing plans to use externally provoked unrest as a pretext for repeated aggression against Iran should pay attention to the negative effects of such actions on the situation in West Asia and international security. We categorically reject any attempt to blackmail Iran’s foreign partners through increased tariffs.
