PNN – Russia’s representative at the United Nations said on Tuesday that the United States is providing weapons that Israel uses to kill Palestinians.
According to Pakistan News Network, Russia’s representative to the United Nations, Vasiliy Nebenzia, said on Tuesday that Washington is providing weapons that Israel uses to kill Palestinians.
In his words, he said: “Washington has failed all the resolutions that aimed to establish a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.”
It was Saturday last week that the United Nations Security Council resolution on an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip was rejected by the US veto. Out of 15 members of the UN Security Council, 13 members voted in favor of it, while England abstained and America vetoed it.
Members of the United Nations voted on a non-binding resolution to establish an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip during a vote in the General Assembly on Wednesday morning. This resolution was approved with 153 votes in favor, 10 votes against and 23 abstentions and calls on the Zionist regime to immediately end the attacks on the Gaza Strip.

Micronesia, Nauru, Papua New Guinea, Guatemala, Liberia, America, Austria, Czech Republic, Paraguay and the Zionist regime voted against this resolution.
Since the beginning of the Zionist regime’s attacks on the Gaza Strip on October 7, the United Nations Security Council has not been able to pass a binding resolution to establish a ceasefire in this region in numerous meetings it has held due to the obstruction of the United States.
On October 7th, the Islamic resistance movement of Palestine, Hamas, in response to more than seven decades of occupation of Palestine and nearly two decades of siege of Gaza and imprisonment and torture of thousands of Palestinians, started the operation known as “Al-Aqsa Storm”.
This operation was one of the deadliest attacks against this regime. Hamas fighters penetrated into the occupied territories at several points of the border fences, attacked the villages and besides killing a large number of Israelis, captured a number of them.
In response to this operation, the Zionist regime launched heavy attacks against Gaza and put this area under complete siege. Despite this, as analysts say, the al-Aqsa storm operation has imposed a major security-political defeat on Israel.
So far, more than 19,500 people have been martyred and tens of thousands of people have been injured during the operations of the Zionist regime in Gaza. Most of the martyrs are civilians.
