PNN – A Kremlin aide emphasized on Wednesday that Putin and Xi Jinping paid special attention to the situation surrounding Iran during the video call.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said following the video call between the leaders of Russia and China that the talks between Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping were substantive and that they discussed the situations surrounding Iran, Venezuela, and Cuba.
After the end of the video conference between the two presidents, Ushakov emphasized to reporters that Vladimir Putin and the Chinese President paid special attention to the situation surrounding Iran, saying: As I mentioned earlier, many other international issues were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the tense situation surrounding Iran.
According to him, the talks between the leaders of Russia and China lasted 1 hour and 25 minutes in a friendly and trusting manner, and the Russian President and the Chinese President discussed relations with the United States.
The Kremlin aide said: Russia and China act in tandem and can rely on each other. Xi Jinping also supported the ongoing talks on Ukraine in Abu Dhabi, and Vladimir Putin is ready to attend the APEC summit in China in November.
According to him, Russia supports China’s initiative to create a global organization for cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence; the Russian President also reiterated Russia’s support for the one-China principle.
