PNN – In the final minutes before the flight to Washington, a reporter working for RT (Russia Today) was removed from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s private plane following a “sudden and surprise security check.”
The Prime Minister’s Office said in a brief statement: For security reasons, authorities have decided not to grant permission for this journalist to participate in this trip.
The Shin Bet (Shabak) emphasized that decisions regarding sensitive and diplomatic flights are within the organization’s legal authority and are aimed at protecting the security of the government and the Prime Minister.
