PNN – Referring to the existence of Washington’s footprints in the continuous escalation of the conflict between Palestine and the Zionist regime, the deputy head of the Russian Security Council said: “There is a serious risk that the current conflict will turn into a full-scale regional or even global war, the huge profits of which will go to American arms manufacturing companies.”
According to the report Pakistan News Network, quoted by “Tass” news agency, Dmitry Medvedev, the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, wrote in an article today: “Another war has started in the Middle East. A cruel war without rules; a war based on terror and the doctrine of disproportionate use of force against civilians.
He noted that although it is more important for Moscow to “achieve success” in special military operations, what is happening in Palestine and Israel “can’t help but worry.” Medvedev related this issue to the fact that “wars often have similar causes and develop according to the principle of related events.”
This politician added: “And the new round of conflict between Palestine and Israel is not an exception to this rule, and there is a possibility that it will turn into a full-scale regional war, and even “in worse conditions” the world will face a world war.”
According to Medvedev, the continuous escalation of the conflict between the Palestinian and Israeli sides shows an obvious American footprint. He wrote: “Today’s conflict has a long, well-known history. Of course, since the 1940s, in each new round, it has gone towards greater darkness and horror, and a distinct American footprint can be seen in these events. In all the Arab-Israeli wars since the 1960s, Washington has only supported one side (its own ally Israel) and pumped its weapons there. The American side does everything so that the two sides of the conflict never separate peacefully. In the implementation of this policy, everything is quite clear: the supply of weapons to the Middle East gives American companies huge and, above all, constant profits.
The Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council emphasized: “And while the United States was officially one of the countries that, on November 29, 1947, followed the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly on the establishment of two Palestinian and Jewish states and the declaration of the international zone of Beit Al-Maqdis voted positively.”
Dmitry Medvedev added about America’s reaction to the deterioration of the current situation: “The United States is relying on force again and is trying to show who the boss in the region is.” Instead of trying to reduce the intensity of the confrontation using the levers of diplomacy (both official and unofficial), we see that American aircraft carriers have been sent to the coasts of the region and a bill has been presented to Congress for the rapid supply of weapons to Israel, which is more than 2 billion dollars, (although the Israelis want ten billion).”
In his article, this Russian official also mentioned that Kiev officials are jealous of the special attention of the US government towards Israel and are worried that they will not receive enough money from Washington due to the new round of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and therefore they beg and cry crocodile tears.
