Russian Professor: Iran has many capabilities to respond to Israel

PNN – Referring to Israel’s action in the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’s political bureau, and the violation of the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the professor of Plekhanov University of Russia said: Tehran has many capabilities to respond to Tel Aviv.

In an interview in Moscow, Oleg Glazunov added: Iran’s special services and military and security forces in the Middle East and West Asia have many capabilities such as ballistic missiles, drones, and guerrilla warfare.

He stated: Iran is capable of special operations against the leadership of Israel’s special services and officials, as it showed in response to the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani.

The associate professor of the Department of Political Analysis and Psychosocial Processes of Plekhanov University of Russia said: Iran’s readiness to declare war on Israel is very high, but this issue seems unlikely; However, Tehran must respond to Tel Aviv in some way, therefore, we must wait for retaliatory measures from the countries of the Middle East and West Asia.

He stated: Israel is not ready to go to war with Iran until its problems with Hamas and Hezbollah are resolved, and only then can Tel Aviv enter into a conflict with Iran.

This Russian expert further described the reaction of the Arab world to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas’s political office, as weak and said: Considering the close economic and technical-military relations of some Arab countries with Israel, it seems that there is a special agreement between the leaders of these countries and Tel Aviv, and therefore, these countries will not intervene in a possible conflict in the region against Israel.

He stated: The United States of America believes that Iran will not go to war with Israel; In such a situation, Tel Aviv, which has the support of the United States, France and England, will seek to send more troops to the Gaza Strip and the Lebanese border to solve its problems in these areas.
