PNN – An expert on developments in West Asia called the ground entry of Zionist troops into Lebanon very dangerous for the aggressors.
In an interview with international reporters, Seyyed Reza Sadr al-Husseini said about the Zionist regime’s attacks on Lebanon: The regime has violated the ceasefire with the Lebanese government more than 10,000 times in the past 15 months. All of the Zionist regime’s efforts these days have been focused on this issue, in order to destroy Hezbollah’s military infrastructure, perhaps to cross the Litani River and connect the few limited points where it has been able to establish bases there.
This expert on developments in West Asia, referring to Hezbollah’s entry into the ground battle against the Zionist regime in the north of the occupied territories and the dispatch of a large number of the occupying residents of this region to other parts of the occupied territories, said: After the continuous bombings it carried out to destroy Hezbollah’s military (ground) capabilities, and even failed to achieve success in a heliborne operation, leaving a number of dead and wounded, the Zionist regime raised the issue of a ground invasion of Lebanon at this stage.
He clarified: In fact, the Zionist regime’s military operations in Lebanon are a matter of influencing the regime’s defeat in the north of the occupied territories, and despite the fact that the Israeli regime has sent two of its armies to the north of the occupied territories, they have not been able to make any significant moves against Hezbollah’s ground operations and are still in a defensive state.
Referring to the start of the Zionist regime’s ground operations against Lebanon, Sadr al-Husseini stated: Hezbollah’s considerable preparedness on the Litani River bank, which is responsible for protecting these areas, is an important point. Hezbollah can inflict great damage on the Zionist regime’s war machine, stop the aggressor’s army, kill or injure a number of aggressors, and, more importantly, capture the Zionist soldiers.
It is important for both sides that the Zionist regime does not hand over prisoners to Hezbollah, and that Hezbollah is on the lookout for capturing Zionist aggressor forces, so it seems that the ground entry of Zionist troops into Lebanon would be very dangerous.
This expert on developments in West Asia concluded by emphasizing: Netanyahu carried out the attack on Lebanon to say that Israel is fighting Iran and Hezbollah in all dimensions, so that in this way he can strengthen the cohesion and internal support for his government, and at the same time, perhaps he can achieve a small part of his declared goals in Lebanon.
