Sana’a: The interests of the United States and England became the legitimate goals of Yemen

PNN – The Supreme Political Council of Yemen, as the highest political body in this country, in response to the missile attack of the United States and England this morning, considered it “unjustifiable”, “illegal” and in conflict with all international laws.

According to the International group of Pakistan News Network, in a statement, the Supreme Political Council of Yemen considered the early morning US and British missile attack on areas in Yemen as a continuation of the recent attack on the Yemeni Navy, an aggression against Gaza and a continuation of the aggression against Yemen since March 2015.

The Supreme Political Council of Yemen (based in Sana’a) is considered the highest political body in this country, headed by “Mahdi Al-Mashat”.

According to the Saba News Agency, it is stated in this statement: “The Supreme Political Council emphasizes that the treacherous and open attack by the United States and England at dawn today is an illegal, unjustified and incomplete violation of all international laws and a real threat to world peace and security.”

This political organization described the attack as “shameless” and “vile behavior” and condemned it, adding: “This attack exposes the region to real dangers, the consequences of which are on the shoulders of the Americans, the British and the Zionists.”

The Supreme Political Council of Yemen also emphasized: “Yemen’s response is completely legal within the framework of the sacred defense of Yemen and its sovereignty, independence and freedom, and America and England should not think that they have failed to punish our hero’s armed forces, and the aggressors’ happiness will not last long.”

This high Yemeni political body also said that all American and British interests for the Yemeni armed forces, in response to their aggression against Yemen, are legitimate goals and their presence in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab has no justification and is a threat to the free flow of navigation.

In response to the operations of the Yemeni army in the Red Sea against Israeli ships and American forces, the United States and the United Kingdom targeted more than 12 places in Yemen with planes, ships and submarines. Immediately after this attack, Yemen’s Ansarullah forces announced that they are firing ballistic missiles at enemy positions in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab.
