PNN – Vermont independent Bernie Sanders condemned what he called the Israeli prime minister’s “illegal unilateral attack” on Iran and warned that the United States “should not be drawn into another war by Benjamin Netanyahu.”
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the Guardian, Sanders wrote in a statement that the world has become more dangerous and unstable as a result of Netanyahu’s extremist regime’s continued defiance of international law.
The US senator added in the statement: First of all, Netanyahu is using the starvation of children in Gaza as a tool of war, in flagrant violation of the Geneva Conventions. Now, his unilateral and illegal attack on Iran risks a full-scale regional war.

He called the attacks a contradiction of what he claimed were explicit US demands for a diplomatic solution to long-standing tensions over Iran’s nuclear program, adding that talks had been scheduled for Sunday, but Netanyahu chose to attack instead.
Sanders said: The United States must make it clear that we will not engage in another war led by Netanyahu. We must do everything we can, along with the international community, to prevent this conflict from escalating and bring the parties to the negotiating table.
Following the Zionist regime’s terrorist attack on Tehran and a number of cities in the country, a number of military commanders, scientists, and civilians were martyred.
Israeli media outlets reported on Friday night that 150 to 200 missiles have been fired from Iran towards the occupied territories so far.
