Saudi ambassador in London: Hamas is part of the political solution of the Gaza war

PNN – The ambassador of Saudi Arabia in England emphasized: The Hamas movement is part of the political solution to the war (against Gaza) and this issue requires a lot of thinking and work.

According to Pakistan News Network, “Khalid Bin Bandar Bin Sultan” said in an interview with the British “BBC” channel: What happened [on the 7th of October in the south of the occupied territories] requires long-term planning, motivations and other things, the most important of which was the continuation of the occupation of the Palestinian territories by the Israeli regime.

Emphasizing that the conflict between the Palestinians and the Zionists goes back to 100 years ago, he added: This is the reason for the October 7 operation and not the normalization negotiations with Israel.

The Saudi ambassador in England stressed that it is appropriate to stop the war in the Gaza Strip immediately: Because the international community has not yet reached an agreement on a ceasefire (in the Zionist regime’s war against Gaza), there is currently no proper solution for the post-war situation.

At the same time, he pointed out that the Palestinian Authority has many resources to play a role in Gaza, and emphasized the need for international participation.

Khaled bin Bandar bin Sultan, stating that the Israeli regime is still talking about the end of the first phase of the war, should be asked (from the leaders of Tel Aviv) how many casualties are needed to stop the war.

The Saudi ambassador in England stressing that “if others do what the Israeli regime is doing (in Gaza), they will be excluded from the international community and will be subject to sanctions and other things” added: The world is expected to treat the Israeli regime as it treats others.

The Saudi ambassador to the UK admitted that despite the October 7 attack, his country is still interested in normalization with the Israeli regime, and that Riyadh has been interested in this since the King Fahd Project in 1982, which inspired the Arab peace plan.

At the same time, he emphasized that “we cannot live with the Israeli regime without an independent Palestinian state” and added: Without a stable and independent Palestinian state, nothing else matters, because the outcome of the solution will not be a long-term conflict.

The statements of the Saudi ambassador in England were made at the same time as the Saudi Council of Ministers (Government Board) requested the international community to activate mechanisms to hold the Zionist regime accountable for its violations in the Gaza Strip.

In its meeting, the Saudi Council of Ministers strongly rejected the words of the Zionist authorities regarding the relocation of the residents of the Gaza Strip and the re-occupation of this area and the construction of settlements in it.
