PNN – Riyadh and Islamabad signed a joint strategic defense agreement.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman signed a joint strategic defense agreement between the two countries today in the presence of Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.
According to the “WAS” report, this agreement was concluded within the framework of the “historic partnership” between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, and in light of the bonds of brotherhood, Islamic solidarity, and based on common strategic interests and defense cooperation between the two countries.

WAS announced: The signing of this agreement was carried out within the framework of the two countries’ efforts to strengthen the security of the two countries and create security and peace in the region and the world.
According to a report by the Saudi state news agency, the agreement was signed with the aim of expanding the dimensions of defense cooperation between Riyadh and Islamabad and strengthening joint deterrence against any possible aggression.
WAS added: The agreement stipulates that any attack on one of the two countries will be considered an attack on both of them.
