PNN – Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, said on Monday night: To deal with the challenges that disrupt global security and stability, the reform of the United Nations has become an urgent need.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoted by the official Saudi news agency (WAS) Bin Farhan, speaking on behalf of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia at the 79th United Nations General Assembly in New York, said: Saudi Arabia firmly believes that it is necessary to move towards a better future.
He said: Our emphasis is on the importance of strengthening all-round efforts to have a greater impact on solving current and future challenges and contribute to the development of peace and security and support sustainable development for future generations.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia stated: The continuation of international failures in establishing peace in the world, especially regarding the war in the Middle East, will put the future charter in a bush of tests.
He continued: Wars and geopolitical conflicts have increased the development gap between countries and weakened the bond between nations.
Bin Farhan clarified: Facing the challenges and meeting the needs of the nations of the world requires a double global effort, and in this regard, Saudi Arabia supports the United Nations in consolidating international customs and laws and strengthening collective efforts.
Regarding climate change, the Saudi Foreign Minister also stated that his country is committed to the importance of interacting with challenges, taking into account the differences in national and regional conditions and possibilities.
In the end, he added: Energy developments must be based on three basic pillars, which are energy security, economic prosperity, and solving the consequences of climate change, so that it will not be possible to do one without the other.
