In a separate statement today, the Omani Foreign Ministry, while expressing concern over these developments in the shadow of the continuation of Israel’s brutal attacks against Gaza, emphasized that we are warning against the expansion of the circle of tension in the region.

In response to the operations of the Yemeni army against Israeli ships, America and England attacked targets in Yemen with planes, ships and submarines; Ansarullah also responded to these attacks by firing ballistic missiles at the enemy in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab.

An American diplomat who was involved in the planning of attacks on Yemen revealed in an interview with his country’s media that “the Saudis are strongly opposed to this action because of its potential impact on the peace talks.”

Referring to the fact that “the deepening of the conflict between Saudi Arabia and Yemen poses a risk to the West”, the Telegraph newspaper writes in its report that the Saudis are trying to reach a ceasefire in Yemen and that any major military action by the West threatens this sensitive process.
