Saudi Crown Prince consults with French and British officials about Ukraine and Gaza.
According to Reuters, French President Emmanuel Macron said he spoke with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the two leaders condemned the renewed Israeli attacks on Gaza.
The French president said in this regard that the two sides would chair a conference on a two-state solution aimed at helping to revive the aforementioned political vision.
Emmanuel Macron wrote in a message on X: “A return to the ceasefire is essential to release all prisoners and protect civilians.”
According to Reuters, the issue of Ukraine was another topic of discussion between French and Saudi officials.
On the other hand, and according to the British government website, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also consulted with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Gaza and Ukraine.
The website wrote in this regard: The British Prime Minister congratulated the Saudi Crown Prince for his pivotal role in holding the ceasefire talks (on Ukraine) under the leadership of the United States in Jeddah last week. The parties agree that ensuring a lasting peace is in the interests of all. Referring to the devastating scenes in Gaza, the British Prime Minister stressed that he was deeply concerned about a return to war and called on Israel to exercise restraint.
